I like to think of our bodies as little tuning forks for the universe’s energy. The system through which creativity flows. Creativity isn’t ours, it doesn’t belong to us, it’s of the universe. We channel it. It flows through us and from us, but is not ours to own.
The process of creativity is such an enchanting one. Also frustrating at times when all the information doesn’t flow in together. To quote Leonard Cohen, “If I knew where the good songs came from, I’d go there more often. It’s a mysterious condition. It’s much like the life of a Catholic nun. You’re married to a mystery”.
In the Vedic lineages, creativity is taught as an energy that flows universally, and ideas are being plucked from this flow. In ancient Greece, the believed creativity was a spirit, a kind of divine inspiration and that humans were the carriers of the messages.
If you want to enhance your creativity this year, there will be a few things you can do. Unblock the energy that blocks creativity for you. Expand and open the minds and bodies channels to increase the flow and connection to this energy. Understand creativity on a deeper level and employ distilled tools that help you remove creativity blockers and build daily on your creative capacity.
