If you were Inspiration, imagine how boring it would be if everyone sat around waiting for you, groaning and inactive. Waiting, thirsting for you, but not contributing at all. Blaming you for not arriving and eliminating their ‘creativity block’.
If I were Inspiration I would leave these ones on the kerb, and head straight for the ones with their heads down working, and their eyes up. The ones that weren’t entitled and demanding for me to come for them, sitting stationary. I would opt for the ones already jogging along, making do without me, putting in the hard yards. These would be my people. If I were Inspiration I would seek out those that would carry the burden when I wasn’t available, that adored it when I visited, and that spoke of me fondly, and with gratitude. That wanted to collaborate with me, that saw me not as a saviour but as a partner.
