We all wish there was a silver bullet, that will miraculously transform us. Preferably one without much time invested from us also. We want to understand to the letter exactly what that person is doing. Or how that thing is working out for this person, so we can follow along too.
But there is no magic formula. As Sri M says, there are as many paths to our higher selves, as there are people on earth. Little clues from others are helpful. Insights and ideas, philosophy and education, technique and tools can help us on our path.
At the end of the day though we get to a point where we realise it’s just us, alone, on our path. And we rejoice in this. For in this rejoicing there is an acceptance of everyone else’s path too. A deeper acknowledgment that we ourselves cannot have possibly found ‘the way’ for there is only one way for us, and another for someone else. When self-righteousness falls away, we find in its place acceptance, kindness, and patience.
