If you wait for the perfect moment to create, you’ll be waiting a lifetime.
Our job is to get our body tuned up like the tuning fork it is; rested, well-fed, nourished cared for so that creativity can flow through to us.
Our job is to keep the ego at bay, send it some love, for all its moaning and tantrum-throwing we must gently ignore.
Our job is to understand the mind needs distractions being pared back, it needs the bold no, it needs quietening and soothing.
Our job is to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Our job is to sit at our desk, to stand at the easel, work our way through the kitchen and so forth, and create regardless of inspiration.
Our job is to take the ordinary days and mundane moments and find our joys, and create, create, create.
With love,
Jac x
