Here are some examples of common low grade thinking patterns that you might recognise;
“God, bad things always seem to happen to me”
“I’m just so busy and exhausted I don’t even know where to begin!”
Any of these sound familiar? That’s fine. The key is not to get frustrated when we find ourselves in low grade thinking patterns but to acknowledge them and decide to upgrade them. And it’s really important we do so. The more we resist and whinge about our current states and make them sound negative, the more they’ll appear negative and the more we’ll feel negative. It’s a simple principle but can be a hard one to put into practise. The good news is that the more you become conscious of your low grade thinking patterns, the more quickly you’ll be able to upgrade them.
Here are some examples of ways to upgrade our storylines;
“I’ve had to face some challenges recently, but they’ve each taught me an important lesson”
“I have a lot in my life that preoccupies my time but I’ve chosen each of these and I am grateful for what I have”
Understanding our patterns and beliefs is a part of our beautiful best-selling program Be Your Best Self, and the above is a piece of this carefully curated program of 7 Study Modules. If you want to find out more, visit The Classroom here.
