The feeling of getting out of government quarantine was truly something else. I have truly realised how relative time is to our experience. Two weeks can feel like forever, or it can go by in a snap. 7 weeks ago I was back here in Australia, world was our oyster and I had the most amazing year ever planned. What has occurred in 7 weeks one hand feels swift and knocked the breath out of me, on the other felt like a year squeezed into one. I look back and I can’t fathom how much happened in such a short space of time. It’s holding the dichotomy together that is key. It doesn’t need to be one or the other, it is both, because it is all perception. In any given moment, like one of those view finders I had as a kid, you can pull down on the little lever, and a whole new image is there. It’s a single click away, and entirely different view, perspective, attitude.
This morning we drive from Sydney to Byron Bay, and change is starting to feel very spacious, graceful, it’s simply just ‘another click’.
