On Friday I hosted our live online The DOJO, 90 minute session on Resistance and Surrender, and we explored many verses of the Tao Te Ching to unravel and enrich these two concepts. I am absolutely loving The DOJO, the sessions are spacious enough to really get into the nuts and bolts, and then for our Black Belts we go even deeper in our one on one sessions. This particular little part of the Tao Te Ching struck a note with everyone on the live call, for there has been such resistance from everyone lately, to just about anything and everything. Funnily even to the idea of coming out of isolation the very thing we initially resisted! I love the term ‘you ruin what is almost ripe’ when forcing something into completion that isn’t quite there. So I want to ask you, what for you still needs time to ripen? Where are you forcing or grasping?

The DOJO is a community of like-minded people, all on the path to discover their truth, live from their hearts and live aligned to their highest grade self. The Broad Place DOJO is a place to explore just that, and there is no more important time than the present to uncover a new way of life for yourself. We will help you carve out your new path of an abundant life of creativity, clarity and consciousness. teach about Vedanta, Buddhism, Taoism, Zen and other philosophies and practices and ground the ideas into our modern world. We are now two months into our global community connecting and I am absolutely loving it, as seems to be everyone a part of it. This month’s topic is Resistance and Flow, and we used the Tao Te Ching as one of the key teachings to explore this and you can still access this as as recording (White Belt) or join the next session live online (Orange Belt) and sit a one on one mentoring session with me (Black Belts online).
