I think this Zen concept is brilliant, ‘Half of happiness is being okay with what you don’t get, the other is being okay with losing whatever you have’.
It is not so much about becoming happy, striving for happiness, but about being okay with all the things we ‘think’ detract from happiness. Being okay with whatever is happening, brings about more happiness.
This is so rich in it’s simplicity and also it’s complexity, I really want to let you just sit with it, and digest it in your own way, rather than my extrapolate and distract from its beauty.
