A daily meditation practice is like taking a huge tangled ball of wool (our minds) and slowly, piece by piece untangling it. We can then couple this with education, some self understanding and wiring in of new patterns and actions that are aligned with our personal truth, and then begin to live in a higher grade sense. We take the wool and create something new from it now it’s untangled. We cannot do this, when it’s still a tangled mess! Removing the old tired patterns and behaviours and creating new ones to replace them, takes patience, and gradual work, it’s not an immediate thing. Even when you have a huge aha moment, it still takes integration to weave that learning into your life.
If you’re beginning to realise that you are making similar mistakes, or have tired of old patterns that no longer serve you that you can’t seem to break, I invite you to come and learn Integrated Meditation. You can come learn with me online anywhere in the world, or in person. The shifts that come from this daily practice, open you up to a far more expansive way of thinking and behaving. There’s something about the release of old stresses and programming of the mind and body coupled with transcendence of the mind that creates a diving board into your higher self unlike anything else I have ever seen. I hope I can share it with you soon. If you’re already meditating steadily, may I suggest The DOJO, or a Private Mentoring program if you want to take yourself to the next level on the self understanding front – if you wish to work with The Broad Place. A therapist, coach, psychologist can also all be brilliant – just ensure you’re focussing on integrating what you’re learning.
