Some of my favourite lines from 27 of the Tao Te Ching, and some things to ponder.
‘A good traveller has no plans and is not intent on arriving’.
How can we truly set about to walk the path and not fixate on the future end?
‘A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever he wants’.
How can we trust, deeply and follow our intuition knowing it will never lead us incorrectly?
What is overriding this intuition and how can it be better understood?
‘A good scientist has freed himself of all concepts and keeps his mind open to what is’.
Only with an open mind free from prejudices and ideas can we truly discover, can we really experience the world.
‘He is ready to use all situations and doesn’t waste anything’.
Every situation is a gift, with something in its hands just for us. Will we reject it, or will be lean into understand it, to be grateful for the learning and the experience, no matter how uncomfortable?
