But not many people can be bothered with walking up the mountain to see that path. Down in the valley is where everyone else is, and it’s one steep hill. The thing with venturing up there is that there’s a lot more space, and not many others there, and a much better view. And from that view you can better see the landscape and why everyone chooses to stay in the Valley. You can also see why you no longer want to be there yourself and know it was worth the climb. What looked deserted and lonely from down below, is actually calm, beautiful, expansive.
In your life today, what valleys do you sit in? What can you not see from this place? What mountains are you willing to climb, to see what opportunities lie for you away from the crowd? What might this mean if applied to every area of your life?
