L E T T E R from Jac – Why Meditate?

The Buddha was once asked, “What have you gained from meditation?” He replied, “Nothing!” Then he continued, “However, let me tell you what I have lost: anger, anxiety, depression, insecurity, and fear of old age and death.”

What would you like to release as you step into the next year? Are you tired of being tired? Is stress stressing you out? Is it time to shift into a more heart centred way of living. In truth there are hundreds of benefits of the mantra based Integrated Meditation practice we teach at The Broad Place, BUT the most valuable part I think, of this daily discipline is connecting to ones soul. The practice releases old samskaras, which are stresses, old conditioning on and tensions which helps us access our truth, but also, it creates a strong rope like connection to our heart and soul. This for me above all the health and emotional benefits is the best part. It creates more love and stability, inner strength and confidence, when we are connected to our hearts through our daily practice.

If you want to get back into the chair and have learnt with us already, come resit a session or the whole course as is available to all our students ongoing as a gift. If you are ready to learn, Jo and I have courses in December, and I just listed courses friendly to nearly all time zones in later January. Read more here.

With love,

Jac x
