L E T T E R – Gaining Clarity On The Lack Of Clarity

Educating ourselves is fascinating and frustrating at times, as the more you learn, the more you realise you don’t know. This can be about ourselves or about others or around sequencing and processing. And when it comes to creative pursuits, this can become utterly overwhelming. There is sooo much more available to us and we begin to get a sense of this as our path continues.

We get to choose whether to stay curious or pretend to know it all. We get to decide if we say, ‘I don’t know’ and stay open to not knowing, or allow to fake it until you make it attitude overtake us.

A commitment to not knowing is the underpinning of Seung Sahn’s teachings. And he’s written a great book called ‘Wanting Enlightenment Is A Big Mistake’ that if you need some re­programming for your thinking on this is a great read indeed.
