This title is a joke! You cannot ever be ‘the best meditator ever’ as it simply doesn’t exist. You can’t even master meditation as it’s a process of opening and unfolding consciousness for yourself with no actual end goal in sight. I get messages all the time from students saying ‘ugh I am the worst meditator’ – which we boil down to their having expectations that are being aligned with their reality. I mean, this is one of the main gifts of meditation and what it teaches us! Dropping expectations and dropping instead into reality. It’s what we learn.
So what makes for a great meditator? One that meditates. That’s all. Just get in the chair.
