Life is so fragile. We never know when it will come to a close.
As humans, we can be bitter and cruel. We can fight bitterly. We can destroy the very thing that sustains us, our planet. We can be competitive, nasty, and inflict incredible pain.
We also cry at sunsets and quietly watch the people we love to sleep. We fall deeply in love. We gasp at the night sky and feel awe in a forest. We are kind and caring, and risk our own lives to save animals and humans in crisis.
And we get to choose what type of human we will be. And we can either take for granted the privilege it is to be alive, or we can be utterly in its grace every day.
