We are SO close to launching our new membership platform The Portal. Creating this has been an epic undertaking, and was about 6828x more work than I expected BUT the outcome is so much greater than I could have imagined. We have been for such a long time wanting to help people access brilliant education in the self development and spiritual space, without an enormous outlay financially, and to support them with ongoing monthly support and live interactions and 21 Day Challenges to help support our community. Something people can engage with in their own time, at their own pace. With content that grows with them. And the time is coming! ANY DAY NOW. If you have ever worked in the land of web design/build/payment gateways/integration systems you will know they are about as complicated as dealing with Covid. The joy of it!! I mean honestly you will need meditation if you’ve ever been down this path yourself hahaha…so for the sec, stay tuned.
Until then, a quick little, effective tool to keep your mindset aligned but also keep your tenderness – IF you were able to live to the ripe old age of 75 – how many Christmases would you have left? Is it 5? Is it 45? You might find Christmas brings you anxiety – but would you view it differently if you only had a handful left? That number is the guessed amount of all the joys, the overeating, the laughs with loved ones left.
Maybe it’s more and you live to 97! But also, maybe you don’t. So with that in mind, how do you want to hold yourself this Christmas? One of our students found out a year ago, he had one Christmas to go. He went on to survive this year, but this is definitely going to be his last with his partner and kids. What would it look like if this year we didn’t complain, didn’t vent, just enjoyed every drop of juice we can squeeze from it? What if we were utterly grateful, and in awe of what it meant to be alive, every step of the way.
