The above is from David Lynch’s wonderful book Catching The Big Fish. He’s an avid meditator and has done incredible work sharing and encouraging people to learn meditation.
I love the idea of all kinds of fish (ideas) swimming around in our consciousness. That we can hook up at anytime with the right practices, techniques and understanding of ourselves.
My question for you is with 2017 coming to a close, and 2018 beginning soon, which ideas/fish have served you this year, and have brought about a feast, and which have been small and a waste of bait? Have your fish/ideas been sustainable, or fractured and creating too much waste in the catch? What will you bring with you next year, and what’s been just garbage and the odd gumboot?
If you’re really serious about creativity, and gaining insights and inspiration in life, I invite you too come learn meditation with us in January or February or anytime next year. One of our big fishes for next year is to help more students learn the technique we teach. We’re about to launch our new payment plan where you can spread out the course fee over twelve months to make it even more sustainable. Please get in touch if you wish to know more about that!
