‘Yoga stah, kuru karmani’
‘Established in Being, perform action’ (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, verse 48)
This is a powerful line from the Vedic teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. It explains that in order to take action, and to do anything with success, first we must establish in being.
In today’s frenetic world, we are becoming less able to establish in being and engage with who we really are! We’re constantly overwhelmed with technology and social media, advertising and marketing. Knowing who we truly are and what our role is within the world is challenging at the best of times in today’s age. Getting back in touch and coming back to oneself are the inspiration behind our Establish In Being Retreat.
We have created this groundbreaking retreat as an opportunity for people to take 5 nights out of their lives mid year to re-establish who they are and what they want out of their life.
The program is structured around the physical, mental and spiritual planes and each day will work to expand, nourish and nurture these three elements.
ESTABLISH IN BEING…AND LUXURY!
Each morning guests will wake in their traditional thatched ceiling spacious rooms to throw open windows to the sounds of roosters crowing in the rice fields. We we will all gather to do a sunrise morning yoga session with our personal yoga instructor Kembar. Jacqui will then take everyone through an intention setting session and group meditation. We will then feast upon local fruit and a beautiful breakfast.
Moving on from this each morning, each day will then unfold with a different program to holistically unfold each guests true potential. Visits to holy temples set amongst lush rain forests, long Ayurvedic treatments, local cooking classes involving Food as Medicine, raw organic lunches, long walks through rice paddies and rain forests with gurgling creeks, afternoon workshops on personal growth and long early evening feasts in open air pavilions overlooking huge gullies with the sounds of monkeys playing and birds calling to one another. A chance to restore ones body and mind. And of course some personal time for each guest to either lie by the pool and soak up the sun, or potter through the local markets for beautiful artisanal items, or experience One on One Mentoring with Jacqui, schedule in additional one one personal yoga classes or healing sessions and massages.
DATES AND SCHEDULE
The retreat will be open for guests to arrive from 3pm Monday 1st June and will run through until midday on Saturday 6th June 2015.
We would like to find a happy medium here between informing you of what your days will look like and allowing enough surprise for delight. If you would love more detailed information we are of course happy to provide it, simply let us know.
Each morning will begin at 6am with a seasonal yoga class designed to detoxify the body and mind with an amazing local instructor that Jacqui has learnt from in depth. Jacqui will then hold an intention setting session and group meditation followed by a beautiful breakast.
Each day will involve a morning of activities designed to push the mind and expand ones knowledge and consciousness as well as cleanse the body. After beautiful lunches out together as a group in the best venue Ubud has to offer, every guest has the opportunity for some personal time in the afternoons before partaking in the second group meditation for the day and a group talk led by Jacqui that will focus on a new area each evening. After this inspiring afternoon session, a beautiful dinner will be attended by all guests.
