The other day, I wrote about the concept of letting something go, in order to invite something in. To empty out, in order to experience, or even better, contribute something else.
And I feel this quote relates so beautifully. The interrelatedness of everything, the connectivity, the stitching together of every part of our lives. Because too often we see things in isolation. Especially when we feel ‘bad things’ are happening. We lose our perspective, and with it our wonder.
Whilst reflecting on the year that was and looking ahead to the year that now is, let’s keep the inescapable network of mutuality present, and experience it with a sense of curiosity.
To quote Steve Jobs “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever”.
