Sri M recently did a talk in LA that Jeff and Adele helped organise, and it was recorded and you can take a listen, which I would recommend as he’s always very practical as a teacher. You can read his key book here.

There are some seriously great dishes and inspiration in this article on Gourmet Traveller for Indian vegetarian food.

Our Kitchari recipe is loved by all our students, a nourishing and tri-doshic balancing dish that even kids adore.

Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic massage, and as I am so excited to get to India and get deep in to Ayurvedic treatments. You can also do abyhanga massage at home, and it is an incredible way to deepen the mind body connection, feel grounded and soothed and stimulate the nervous system. I used to do it daily, and all our students that do this, can barely believe the results. Note, it takes some time, and you need to have the right oil. But once you are set up, it’s heaven from there.

In Ayurveda ritual and routine is essential. Learn how to create yourself an Evening Retreat and this beautiful Ayurvedic Spiced Milk to ensure a deep sleep.

In Ayurveda, the benefits of drinking from copper are many. Yogis and traditional Vedic households have been utilising this effective and practical way in which to drink water to prevent ageing, destroy unwanted bacteria within our systems and to eliminate free radicals. The copper allows the water to be gently energised before imbibing. Drinking from a copper vessel is also said to stimulate the brain while regulating the thyroid and actively helps aid better digestion. We have made for The Broad Place very high grade copper drinking vessels which are beautiful as little vases also.

This book is still one of the most comprehensive written on Ayurveda I think!

I have read most of this wonderful woman’s books and everyone delights. A Life Of Balance is a particular favourite and the Path Of Practice for women.

For anyone looking for a spiritual adventure and inspiration, this book has been a staple of so many people including myself.

This book needs to be read on Kindle to get the full version, and it’s like spiritual Game Of Thrones. A behemoth of a book, and one you won’t be able to put down, with so many teachings embedded within it.

Sent with love,
